The previous poster had said "Looks like the maintainer has gone
missing... https://launchpad.net/~cedric-debian".

Looking at Launchpad, it's just that he's a Debian developer and he
doesn't use Launchpad.

However the last Debian upload was on July 31, 2010 and Stellarium
10.6 was released in January 2011...
