[OT] why isn't bikeshed good enough as a sounder replacement?

Why would bikeshed want to have more "ambition". when it's avowed
purpose is to be a replacement for sounder (which was the official
Ubuntu "chatbox")? Sounder was never the Ubuntu support list. Not
same-same, according to my perspective.
