Question about Netbook Remix 10.04

Just installed Netbook Remix 10.04 on an HP Mini-110.  I installed the
Broadcom STA wireless driver, and it is activated and currently in use.
But I can't get a wireless connection to work.  When I left-click on the
connection graphic at the top of the screen, I'm told that the wireless
connection is disconnected, and I simply can't figure out how to get it
to connect.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.  Thanks!
