11.04 and previous Ubuntu versions: ads streamed from BBC news website don't download and play

Hi,

When I try to play Flash videos on the BBC news website, there is
frequently an ad played before the content I want to see.

But the ads don't play. They seem to stop downloading - usually at
mid-way during the downloading process before they would actually
start playing back.

It is happening whether I use Firefox or Chromium.

An example of an ad that doesn't work is the Qatar Foundation
apparently ad served by doubleclick.net (although the problem seems to
be the same with ads from other sources, too). See:

But, using Chromium, I can view videos with which no ad is played
beforehand. For example, the 1-minute news flash works fine:

Is anyone else having this issue? Anyone know any solutions (apart
from contacting the BBC)?

TIA for any advice. ;-)
