Unity desktop not loading

After upgrading to 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) the first notice from the system (after restart) was that I had not the hardware to run Unity.
 Processor: AMD Sempron 2800+ (1.6 GHz)
 Memory: 873 MiB
 Harddrive: 160 GBytes (14% used)
 Multimedia card: Nvidia (adequate)
 All these specification exceed spec. I am booting Xubuntu, why am I having this problem?
