Internet working intermittently - IP settings messed up ?

Dear All,

My internet works and stops and then works again.

I called up my ISP and found out my correct settings and it began working
intermittently ( earlier it was'nt working ). Is it safe to post my IP
settings on the net ?

What can I do to fix this problem ?
