GTK setting for disabling Drag & Drop (Preview) Images

GTK applications have a feature where dragging an item shows an image
of the item near the cursor. Firefox has this feature and it can be
disabled with the option: nglayout.enable_drag_images [false]. Is
there a simple GTK option that can be toggled, then, to remove this
feature from all GTK applications?

Specifically, I am looking for a workaround to this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/zim/+bug/373290

Thanks!
