[11.04]-Firefox won't open mailto: using Thunderbird, HELP!!!

Jesse,

I'm not on 11.04 (10.04 and Firefox 5), but look at 
edit-->preferences-->Applications.  Look for mailto in the content 
column.  For me the Action = Use thunderbire (default) and yes 
thunderbird is mis-spelled.  If it does not say Thunderbird you can 
double click on it to get a list of options.

Hopefully it will be this easy to fix your problem.
