how to connect Tata Docomo USB modem in Lucid

Everything seems quite Ok for you and your modem. I think the main reason
that it failed to connect is the connection settings. Double check your
connection setting from the setp 4 from this
blog<http://ershadk.wordpress.com/2010/03/30/connect-tata-docomo-internet-in-ubuntu-9-04/>again.
After this set the connection to connect automaticall when the system
reboots. Apply the settings and reboot the system.

At the time of connection no other modem device should not be present on the
same machine as like mobile phone connected as com device or etc.
