How to install Ubuntu on MIB byte boundaries ?

Thanks for your help compdoc.

Would this be feasible?
Get an 11.04 or later install CD,
begin the install including partitioning
and abort the install as the screen with all the info you configured
comes up just before the install starts?

Then reconfigure the drive with a 10.04 LTS CD
in the usual manner.  I intend to use 10.04 LTS until it's EOL.

I have gparted but am unfamiliar with it's use
but I've done a lot (too many) of Kubuntu installs.

Make sense?
