NoOps mailer didn't get confused, the sender was confused. The mail in 
question had two parts, i.e. text/plain and text/html. If you look at 
the source, the text/plain part (which should be the authoritative part 
IMHO) starts the lmgtfy line with "> ", i.e. it should be interpreted as 
a quote of the previous mail. Why the two parts are written differently, 
I don't know, but at least this solves the mystery why some people can't 
quote in a readable way. The sender's mail program writes a shoddy 
text/plain part.
