Actually, he's right. Do the research on email and the RFCs involved.
Plain text is readable by everyone without exception. HTML is a /web/
standard, not an email standard, no matter what Microsoft wants us to
think/do.
Heh, just try reading an HTML mail in plain text. Many mail clients
only use plain text. You, in sending HTML, are doing a grave disservice
to the reader with only a plain text MUA.
Plus, it is the standard here, /on this list/, to send plain text. In
view of that, why aren't you doing so?
