Yes I know. One of the political parties here decided to spend some 
money a few weeks ago - which they didn't have to because the Bureau of 
Statistics conducted (?still conducts) - a survey of foreign ownership 
of Austalian resources and found that 83% of the Australian mining 
industry is foreign owned - and these people are the ones now fighting 
not only the proposed carbon tax but also the special tax on mining.
