RES Re: Postfix removal - yikes

RESOLVED

Got an email from debian dev. suggested remove using:
dpkg --ignore-depends mail-transport-agent -r postfix
also gave me instructions for building a dummy package using equivs, this
has got things where I want it and package managers dont complain
