slightly OT concerning pdf's

In Windows 7 Ultimate Full x86_64.:

All three installed on the same computer.

Foxit Reader 4.3.0.1110 shows the space after the 'I' and before the 'n'
in Initiative. I do not see a space between the 'P' and the 'u' in
Publication.

OpenOffice 3.3 does not have spaces anywhere.

LibreOffice 3.3 also does not have spaces anywhere.

I agree that it might be a font but I wonder why it happens in one
application and not others on the same machine.
