VirtualBox Upgrade problem,

Hello

I have one old version of VirtualBox installed on my Ubuntu machine and now
I would like to install the new
version provided by the Oracle, but I get the following message:


There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows
you to install/remove software and to perform other package management
related tasks.


Can someone help with this error ?
