The problem is that when you top post, you break up the problem and
then the answer, so people archiving posts on this list often get posts
"orphaned" (ie without the answer to the problem being maintained
together). I am very grateful to those many members who have thrown a
ray of light on a subject illuminating its darkness, but if I cannot
find their answer when I need it at a later date, as far as I am
concerned, they might just not have contributed in the first place.
I seem to recall seeing something to the effect that posts to this list
should be bottom posted when I joined, but its so long ago now I could
be wrong. In any case, you might look up these two links:

The point is that a mailing list is not the same as e-mail, and this is
a mailing list. It has different types of posting styles to e-mail,
which are used for clarity in a mailing list. Please don't make the
mistake of assuming what is perfectly permissible in e-mail is also
permissible in a mailing list.
Finally, to your last comment. When did you last contribute any code to
making Ubuntu or any other application overcome its bugs? You may have
done, so surprise me (and don't forget those that do are for the most
part volunteers). If you haven't, surely posting your opinions on this
list can also be thought akin to "whinning" (sic), unless those opinions
are positive in content.
