Does ubuntu has intel 1G/bits wire Ethernet driver?

Dear all:
i bout a 1G bits ethernet switch and connect to my T60 laptop.
I am quite sure the build-in ethernet card of T60 support 1G bits, but
from the attach pic, I saw the network speed is 10Mb/s.
Should I update my ehternet driver?
