Viewing VRML files on Ubuntu

Hello,

I'd like to view some VRML (and perhaps X3D) based 3D presentations of
molecules on Ubuntu, but I have some trouble to find proper software do
that. There doesn't seem to be a FireFox plugin for this, and other ways
I tried didn't work either. OpenVRML isn't packaged for Ubuntu, and
FreeWRL was a dead end. Has anyone else been more succesfull?

I'd like to avoid compiling anything (or other "messy" things) if
possible, partly because I don't like messy things myself, but also
because I would like to introduce this to some other people, who like
computers + messy even less than I do.

Some pages I visited:
http://freewrl.sourceforge.net/
http://www.openvrml.org/
http://cic.nist.gov/vrml/vbdetect.html

Thanks

-Ari-
