Missing kernelmodules for Ubuntu 6.06

I have an Ubuntu server 6.06 (works really fine!!) but now i tried to 
modeprobe a kernelmodule. But i get the message
FATAL: Could not load 
/lib/modules/2.6.9-023stab051.3-entnosplit/modules.dep: No such file or 
directory
For some reason i can not update Ubuntu to the newest version so i 
searched where i could download those modules. Does anybody know where 
to find?
