How to mount backup of encrypted home directory

Hello NoOp, Thank you for the link. Yes I should maybe have created a 
new thread. I will next time. For now just leaving subject as is.

However, as I don't have a ~/Private, does that mean I have no encrypted 
files? I do have the .Private and .ecryptfs
