Folks,
I have an AGP video card in my computer. My understanding is the AGP is
the minimum requirement 2 run either Unity or Gnome 3.
Although I can run Unity, albeit with some trouble i.e. it kicks me back
to the login screen from time to time, I can not rung Gnome 3 at all.
When I login to a Gnome 3 session the menu bar (I assume that is what it
is) at the top of the screen is gobble-D-gook. Worse if I try to do
anything I eventually get what I've called the 'White Screen of Death.'
Is there something I don't know? The video card is an old one
(Comparison of Nvidia graphics processing units - Wikipedia, the free
encyclopedia) lists it as a AGP 4x. Is there some way I can getGnome 3to
run onthis video card?
