What I do for a new machine?

Well, but finally I have installed and it looks like:

Disk /dev/sda: 250.1 GB, 250059350016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 30401 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x0001fe0c

   Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1   *           1        3040    24413184   83  Linux
/dev/sda2            3040       30402   219782145    5  Extended
/dev/sda5            3040       29896   215721984   83  Linux
/dev/sda6           29896       30402     4059136   82  Linux swap / Solaris

which is the output of 'sudo /fdisk -l'

I guess for a beginner (me) this is good. There is one more issue I
have recently fallen into just after the installation. Since this is a
different thing, I making a new thread for it.

Thanks to all.
