keyboard problem SOLVED

I realized that the keys on the right side were the only ones effected
and some keys were producing numbers.  I put 2+2 together finally,
realizing that the number keypad had been activated.  I tried Fn +
F12, F11, which did the trick.  Fn+F10 deactivates the mouse pad,
which I do all the time since the keyboard drives me crazy if I don't.

No one replied so I have no one to thank and no one to apologize to,
