Download VMWare Converter & VMWare Player. Fire up the XP box & install
VMWare Converter on it. Connect to it via your Ubuntu box & convert. You
can then run the XP in VMWare Player. You can do the same/similar with
VirtualBox, but I've had better luck converting XP drives using VMWare.
