Well that really isn't my problem, is it?
It's the same people that go off topic here that caused sounder to be shut
down.

The topic as described by the topic starter wasn't off topic for a list
that has the following description: "The Sounder mailing list should be
used for discussion of subjects of general interest related to the Ubuntu
project, Linux, Open Source or software in general."
It was a subject of general interest related to the Ubuntu project. It
just wasn't a technical question. It would have been perfect for sounder.

On the other hand https://lists.ubuntu.com/ describes sounder as "Ubuntu
community random chit-chat list"


As long as Sounder is mentioned on https://lists.ubuntu.com/, I will keep
referring to it. If you think that I'm wrong then I suppose that the
proper course of action would be to file a bug report, asking for removal
of sounder from https://lists.ubuntu.com, or at least add a notice that it
has been shut down.
