It is ...therein lies the problem. IMHO, they would be far far better
off just shutting down kubuntu and then to maintain the KDE packages to
sit properly on top of Ubuntu. Maybe they'd have the time to do a really
great job. I do prefer KDE above the others. Win users feel right at
home, when they first sit down to it. I find Gnome too stark and clunky.
Gnome is far better for a remote desktop, so there are tradeoffs. :) Ric
