Howto select sound card 10.04

I think I did all that before Easter break. I will check on Wednesday after  
break. I don't think any otjer hardware was listed.

Have you clicked on the sound icon and had a look in Sound Preferences >
Hardware tab > Profile drop down list - to see if the output to the
smartbord is listed there?  Or am I getting it wrong insofar as it is
not even connected up?
