Thanks for the help. I did get it working given this link. It was a little
more work than I thought it would be. Somehow I woulnd up missing
/sbin/init on the hard disk, and the I (stupidly) copied that froma 64 bit
system (forgot my laptop was64 not. Then I had to gidht with teh nvidia
kernel module, but know everything seems OK.
