I agree if that is the default then this will be the last go around with
ubuntu for me.
I do not have 3d on my laptop or the money for a new one.  had I the
money I would buy Eracks.com and have SuSE on it which I know works and
have kdE 3.5.x.  I think Ubuntu is getting a bad case of the cutes.
