Hi NoOp,
I seem to remember a similar issue I had with Win Vista.  I installed
foxit reader for pdfs, and printed from that.
Sorry I don't have an url for it, but I am sure google will be your
friend.  It is shareware.
Just popped into my mind that I had to do something with user in the
user accounts menu, but sorry cannot remember what, and stupidly did not
log it in my book
