Hi,

I have an ALPS touchpad that has a working multitouch functionality on
Windows. On my Maverick Meerkat installation, the touchpad isn't detected,
so I have to tell the kernel to treat it as an ImPS/2 mouse.

On Natty, it is successfully recognised as an ALPS touchpad, but another
PS/2 mouse also shows up. I guess the touchpad actions are go through the
PS/2 mouse thing, because *synclient -m 100 shows no *activity from the
ALPS. Scrolling and multitouch do not work as of now( yes, I have uTouch
installed). Scrolling works when I tell the Kernel to use it as an ImPS/2
mouse.

configs:
Sony Vaio VPCEB34EN
intel core i3
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
