Then the only thing that I can thing of is the compiz settings. Please
install the CompizConfig Settings Manager (if you've not already):
$ sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
and then check in System|Preferences|CompizConfig Settings Manager

I'll post some screenshots of my settings - that's probably easier than
trying to list each one. I will post back when I have them up.
