Flash leaves ghost image in browsers, evince, possibly others

Didn't work, exactly.  I went through several iterations of removal
and installation until it finally worked - remove, reboot, install
with apt-get.  At one point, I had flash working but really badly -
slow, intermittent, wouldn't play the video unless the focus was in a
different window although the audio was fine - go figure.

I haven't visited the page that left the ghost behind yet.  Actually,
I couldn't even find it a second time, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.
Right now I don't know if the installation change or the reboot was
the solution yet.

At least it's working.
