Flash leaves ghost image in browsers, evince, possibly others

Congratulations! That's about the strangest thing I've ever seen!

Can you boot and run a live cd session of your current version level of
Ubuntu? Then fire up firefox. If it's not there, there is a ghost of
some application in your present install that is persistent. I'm glad I
don't have it. :) Ric
