You can make up list rules if you feel like it but that doesn't mean
that others will follow them.

If someone wants to answer a post with a google search that resolves
the query - and therefore points out to the OP that he/she's being
lazy - it's his/her prerogative.

I would've used lmgtfy.com to make the point even more vivid.
