I am running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx
My version of Evolution is 2.28.3

I went to the link you provided but have no clue what to do once I get
there. It looks like there is a version 2.32.2-0ubuntu3~maverick1 for
the i386.

There is a Packages, Packages.bz2 and a Packages.gz both at about 11K

I don't know what to do with it. I went to the
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InstallingSoftware

Page and did not recognize any of the formats to use for updating this.

I also went to the Evolution page
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Evolution
Which had no help.

There was a link to:
http://projects.gnome.org/evolution/
I was able to download evolution-2.32.2.tar.bz2 but I do not know what
to do with that file either and I don't know if it is for a i386 or not.

There is not an apt-get command to update me to the latest version?

Why doesn't evolution update when update manager runs? It seems to
update everything else.

Why is this so difficult?
