The following is output of my
fdisk -l
Disk /dev/sda: 500.1 GB, 500107862016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 60801 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x00000080
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 1216 9764864 83 Linux
/dev/sda2 1216 60802 478619649 5 Extended
/dev/sda5 1216 3162 15624192 82 Linux swap / Solaris
/dev/sda6 3162 60802 462994432 8e Linux LVM
and
/dev/sda6 is where 4 LVMs are.
So do I need to mount /dev/sda6 or
mount
/dev/nintendo/lvm1
/dev/nintendo/lvm2
/dev/nintendo/lvm3
/dev/nintendo/lvm4
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/snapshots_backup.html
on above link following link
"13.4.1. Create the snapshot volume"
does it mean to have I need to create one more LVM which should hold backups
and then proceed.
