It's easy to blame the Ubuntu install when it's actually a power supply
acting up. Mine went south just after I bought a brand new custom
machine. My friend remarked that Linux must suck. That jerked me off
royally, and I got an answer from a Fedora list to check the power
supply. Sure enough, the replacement fixed the problem. So, it's on
topic in my book. Ric
