Sorry, I would disagree. The current state of how-tos leaves more to be
desired. Lots of people, including myself, have RTFM and don't even find
examples in them anymore. Especially in the man pages. 10 years ago we
had plenty of docs/howtos/man pages chock full of information. It's not
like that now, so we do share from what we know here. Plus, the OT's
question wasn't something you'd find easily in any doc file. It was
refreshing to see a really good question show on the list.
