Screen saver in 10.10

Hi,

The screen saver in ubuntu 10.10 does not seem to work. Instead of 
showing whatever screensaver I've chosen, it logs me out instead. If I 
disable the screen saver by unchecking the "activate screensaver when 
computer is idle" there is no screen saver, of course, but at least it 
doesn't log me out.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
