Well, if you are looking for my personal opinion it's because Virtualbox
is lacking what VMWare has now, the proper Aero experience, which I
would surely want if I was planning to run Windows.  Not because I like
fancy effects but because it proves me I could run a few Windows only
games easier than I do on Linux.

VMWare also tends to run smoother for me too, and I fear what Oracle
will do to it (it being Virtualbox of course).  I don't hate Oracle, I
just think that they will simply forget about and destroy the product.
