Stopping Firefox from Opening Things in Google Docs

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 with firefox. For some strange reason, firefox is
trying to open what I think are just web pages in Google Docs, and then
Google docs saying it can't open it. 

How can I stop firefox from starting Google Docs? I've looked in
extensions and plugins and also in preferences (applications) in firefox
and I can't find anything that seems to apply that I can turn off.
