CTRL-ALT-F1 doesn't work

Tom,
As you suggested, I looked in Keyboard and changed the "any ALT-key" to
"any Win-key" for choosing third Level and suddenly CTRL-ALT-F1 works!.
I have (standard) 6 ttys while 7 is the X-console.
