Perhaps this will work:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/Ndiswrapper
5. Compiling the latest version of ndiswrapper
It is recommended that you first remove any sign of ndiswrapper from
your computer. There is a module which installs by default with Ubuntu.
To remove this, from a Terminal run the following commands:

    * sudo modprobe -r ndiswrapper
        sudo apt-get --purge remove ndiswrapper-utils
        sudo rm -r /etc/ndiswrapper/
        sudo rm -r /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper
        sudo rm /lib/modules/$(uname
-r)/kernel/drivers/net/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper.ko

If that fails:

Good luck.
