Hi!

Why does OO.o Base 3.2.1 take a very long time for Record Search of a
word in a Text box of a simple table of 53000 records? (3:38 min) (HSQL)
RAM = 1GB. CPU Blowfish Benchmark: 19 s. Connecting the same data from
a .csv will reduce the search time to 6 s!
Why is the search in the same data, but coming from a .csv file, faster
by a factor of 30?
Is the only solution to use a different database engine like SQLite,
MySQL, PostgreSQL or Firebird in order to speed up the search and still
being able to modify the data?

Kind regards,

Detlef Lechner
