Sorry... but you need to backup & regroup.

OpenOffice.org (OOo) is an application package that is offered by
Ubuntu. While you may get someone to assist with OOo on this list you
are better served by going to the OOo lists directly, or by selecting
Help|Get Help Online for Ubuntu specific help. That will lead you to:

where you can ask specific questions for this application. You can also

Unless you have a bug, or Ubuntu specific issue with (U)OOo, this list
isn't the proper place to ask for help on porting your gmail contacts to
OOo.

This list is:
ubuntu-users -- Ubuntu user technical support, not for general discussions
OOo isn't *Ubuntu*. Nobody here (that I know of) minds answering an OOo
question off the top of their head if they know it, but you need to
realise that this list isn't for all things/applications that you can
load/use with Ubuntu. So if you keep that in mind, and instead ask
others: 1) ask a question properly with as much detail as you can, 2) if
they know how to solve a problem, and 3) if they do not where you can go
to solve it, you'll do just fine. Also keep in mind that others may not
have a Gmail account (I don't), may not be familiar with OOo (I am - in
detail) etc.
