Uninstalling Ubuntu to re-install

Boot from the Live CD (or flash stick or whatever). When it asks you how to
partition the disk, go to "Advanced", delete all of the partitions that
already exist, create a new swap partition (my personal preference is
between 2 and 4GB, depending on what I use the computer for) and then
partition the rest of the drive as you see fit (ie ~40GB for / and the rest
for /home).
