Franz,
I have build a system rather similar to what you want last year, using 
parts provided by a local (dutch) hardware store.
MB: ASUS M4N78 PRO (an older version fo waht you want)
CPU:AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor (yours is somewhat faster)
Mem: 4 Gb DDR2 Synchronous 800 MHz (I think Kingston but I'm not sure)
Disk: SAMSUNG HD502HI 500 GB
   I have a 1 TB USB disk and  250GB USB disk but I don't use large 
video files, only music (in .wav format) and I have still sufficient space.
If you want to know the prices I'll dig up the bills but they are prices 
for 2009.
The system is my workhorse and I use it a.o. for a rather heavy windows 
program running XP in VMWare Player and it works OK.
