Thanks! Very kind of you.

Summary: if you want it to Just Work & don't mind no modularity, go
for SME Server.

If you want customisation, go for ClearOS.

Don't go for Zentyal unless you're particularly wedded to the Ubuntu
way of doing things.

TBH, all of them are meant as server for Windows boxes, plus Macs for
SME Server. None are ideal as a server for Linux machines, although
they'll do it.

Me, I would like to see Canonical adopt Zentyal and build a
professional, free Linux server that was the functional equal of
Windows SBS and the equal to Ubuntu Desktop in polish and finish. It
could be done. Ubuntu Server is, IMHO, a disgrace: it's not a server
OS, it's a bag of tools and bits to build your own server OS, and as
such, it lets down the Ubuntu name and brand.

Zentyal is not nearly there in polish yet, but it can see it in the distance.
